Stocky Rescue: get your data out and keep reordering in Shopify
We export what Stocky still offers, rebuild your supplier list, and replace the Monday reorder routine with a sheet, a weekly email and Shopify's own purchase orders.
$349
No founding discount on this kit. The Stocky export deadline sets the timing.
Stocky's export window closes no earlier than about 29 November 2026. Shopify gives read-only export access for at least 90 days from 31 August 2026.
The problem
Shopify's Help page says: “Stocky is no longer available as of August 31, 2026.” Merchants have read-only access to export their data for at least 90 days after that date. The same page says suppliers can't be exported from Stocky, and historical purchase orders can't be imported into Shopify.
Source: Shopify Help: Transitioning from Stocky · checked 20 Oct 2026On the Shopify Community, merchants list what they lost: purchase order export, stock takes, invoice paid and unpaid, and due dates. One wrote: “The hard part is getting your history out in one piece.”
Replacement apps have a limit too: apps with Shopify's standard order access only see the last 60 days of orders, and older orders need a permission Shopify must approve. This kit uses Shopify's own sales report export instead, so the reorder sheet is built from 90 days of your sales.

The Stocky export checklist
What to take out of Stocky before the read-only export window closes, whether or not you work with us. Do the first three while the export screens still open.
- 01
Open Stocky's reports and export what Shopify says to keep: all completed purchase order reports as CSV files, your stocktake history and your historical cost data. Export any other report your Stocky screens still offer too. Stocky is read-only now.

Save the files in a dated folder you own, outside Stocky. Shopify says to keep anything you need for tax or audit records, and Stocky's purchase orders and stocktakes can't be referenced inside Shopify after the move.

Screenshot every supplier record. Suppliers can't be exported from Stocky.

For each supplier, write down the lead time, minimum order, payment terms and email address.
- 05
List your open supplier invoices, with due dates and whether each one is paid or unpaid.
- 06
Keep your last stocktake count sheet.
- 07
Turn inventory tracking on for the products you reorder. Shopify would not add untracked products to a purchase order.

Note the reorder point and usual order quantity for your best sellers.

What's included
- 01
Export archive
Every Stocky report still available to export, saved to a dated folder you own. Shopify's Help page names completed purchase order reports as CSV files, stocktake history and historical cost data, and we take any other report your Stocky screens still offer. Screenshots of supplier records, which cannot be exported.
- 02
Supplier sheet
In Google Sheets or Excel: supplier name, contact, email, lead time in days, minimum order, payment terms, notes and products supplied. Rebuilt from the archive and your own notes.
- 03
Reorder sheet
For each product: recent daily sales from Shopify's own sales export, current stock, lead time, safety stock, reorder point and suggested order quantity, with a clear ORDER NOW flag. Products with missing data are flagged, not skipped.
- 04
Monday reorder email
Lists products at or below their reorder point, grouped by supplier, with a check against each supplier's minimum order. It is set up as a weekly email from Google Sheets (Apps Script), run from your own Google account, so it does not depend on Shopify Flow.
- 05
Supplier invoices tab
Replaces Stocky's invoice tracking: invoice number, date, amount, due date, Paid or Unpaid, and an overdue flag. The Monday email adds overdue unpaid invoices and those due in the next 7 days. Open invoices are entered with you from your own records; Stocky's invoice history stays in the archive.
- 06
Stocktake tab
Replaces Stocky's stocktakes: one line per product with expected, counted, variance and variance value at cost, and a status (MATCH, OVER, SHORT or NOT COUNTED). It never writes to Shopify: you adjust stock in Shopify after review.
- 07
Purchase order checklist
How to raise, send, receive and close a purchase order with Shopify's native purchase orders, with screenshots from your own admin. Stock is received through the transfer Shopify creates from the purchase order.
- 08
Handover
A recorded walkthrough, a one-page “how this works / what to do if” note, and support for defects in what we built for the period set in your written scope.
What's not included
- Importing historical purchase orders into Shopify. Shopify does not support it, so they stay in your archive.
- Buying, configuring or moving to a paid inventory app or ERP. This kit does not replace an ERP.
- Forecasting beyond a simple sales-rate reorder point (no seasonality modelling).
- Cleaning product catalogue data beyond the matching the sheets need.
- Ongoing changes after the support period.
Who it's for
- Shopify stores that used Stocky for purchase orders, suppliers or stocktakes.
- Still inside the read-only export window. If it has closed, we can rebuild the supplier and reorder sheets from scratch at the same price, and we say so in writing before you pay.
- Up to 2 locations, up to 1,500 active products and up to 40 suppliers. Larger stores get a custom quote.
- Products you reorder are active with inventory tracking on. Shopify will not add untracked products to a purchase order, so turning tracking on is part of the work.
Not for stores that need landed costs, manufacturing or multi-warehouse transfers. For those, an inventory app is the better fit.
Access we need
- A Shopify staff account with Products, Inventory, Orders (read), Reports/Analytics and Apps (to open Stocky). No owner login, and no passwords sent by email.
- A Google account or shared drive folder where you own the files.
- 30 minutes with the person who used Stocky, for supplier notes that never existed in Stocky.
Add-on, upgrade credit and Store Watch
Add-on · in testing
Auto stock sync, $149
A workflow copies On hand and Incoming from Shopify into the Stock tab every Monday before the email runs, so there is no manual Monday copy step. It is built and in testing. We offer it once it has run on a real store.
Upgrade credit
Counts towards Inventory Intelligence
If your store upgrades to Inventory Intelligence within 60 days, the $349 you paid for Stocky Rescue counts towards it.
After handover: Store Watch, $129 a month. A monthly check that what we built is still working. For this kit, that means the reorder sheet still matches your Shopify stock and the Monday reorder email still arrives. Optional.
Shown on our demo store
● Demo environment · Northfield Outfitters (fictional) · synthetic data
Our demo store is a Shopify development store that never had real Stocky data, so we used its 18 stocked product variants and their real on-hand stock with sample sales and 4 sample suppliers.
- Before the fixes, the reorder workbook flagged 10 products (missing data, a duplicate and a product with no sales line) and held them out of the order. After the fixes, 0 were flagged.
- After the fixes, the Monday email showed one supplier order of $7,550 that meets its minimum and one of $132 below its $150 minimum.
- We raised a purchase order in Shopify for $7,550, matching the email. We received it through a transfer with one unit late, and it closed once every unit arrived.
- Two findings that go into every checklist: Shopify will not add untracked products to a purchase order, and it pre-fills the last cost used on each line.
The Monday email has been run from a real Google account on our demo store (19 October 2026). Stocky can't be installed on a demo store, so the archive step is done on your store, not shown in the demo.

- When does the Stocky export window close?
- Shopify's Help page says merchants have read-only access to export their data for at least 90 days after 31 August 2026. That puts the earliest close at about 29 November 2026. Shopify says “at least”, so it may stay open longer, but we would not wait to find out.
- The Stocky export window has closed for my store. Can you still help?
- Partly. Without the export screens there is no archive to take, but we can rebuild the supplier and reorder sheets from scratch at the same price, confirmed in writing before you pay.
- Can you move my old purchase orders into Shopify?
- No. Shopify does not support importing historical purchase orders. They stay in the archive folder you own.
- Is this a replacement for an ERP or inventory app?
- No. It replaces the weekly reorder routine Stocky used to run. If you need landed costs, manufacturing or multi-warehouse transfers, an inventory app is the better fit, and we will tell you so.
- My products don't have SKUs. Is that a problem?
- No. If products have no SKUs, the sheets match on product and variant name. The handover note recommends adding SKUs.
- What do I do each week after handover?
- Each Monday you copy On hand and Incoming from Shopify into the Stock tab, read the email, fix anything it flags, and raise purchase orders for suppliers that meet their minimum. The Auto stock sync add-on, still in testing, is built to remove the copy step.
- Does my Shopify plan include purchase orders?
- We tested native purchase orders on our demo store, a Shopify Plus development store. Shopify's purchase orders help page does not list plans, so we check your store before you pay. The Monday email runs from Google Sheets, so Shopify Flow is not required.
- Is there a free checklist for getting my data out of Stocky?
- Yes. The Stocky export checklist on this page is free, with no email needed. It lists what to export, what to screenshot and what to write down before the export window closes.
- What happens to the $349 if I want Inventory Intelligence later?
- If your store upgrades to Inventory Intelligence within 60 days, the $349 you paid for Stocky Rescue counts towards it.
